One-Way PET Large-Format Water Bottling

One-Way PET Large-Format Water Bottling Line

Complete large-format PET water bottling line from blow molding to rinsing, filling, capping, labeling, secondary packaging, and robotic palletizing.

4R supplies the core rinsing-filling-capping monoblock for one-way PET large-format water bottles, with standard capacities of 600 BPH and 1200 BPH based on 12L bottles. The line can handle 5L to 18.9L PET bottles when the neck finish remains consistent, and 4R can act as the turnkey project owner for line integration, installation, commissioning, training, and after-sales support.

A turnkey production line built around 4R’s rinsing-filling-capping monoblock.

4R manufactures the key equipment of the one-way PET large-format water line: the rinsing-filling-capping monoblock and its matching bottle conveying system. These are the sections that directly affect bottle handling, filling hygiene, line rhythm, and production stability.

For the full line, 4R works with qualified partners to integrate the air compressor system, blow molding machine, molds, labeling, handle application, secondary packaging, robotic palletizing, and pallet wrapping. Customers work with one engineering responsibility center instead of coordinating separate equipment suppliers.

Rinsing, filling, cap treatment, and capping in one integrated machine.

The monoblock handles empty-bottle rinsing, product-water filling, cap elevation, cap washing and sterilizing, automatic capping, and conveyor synchronization. Standard output options include 600 BPH and 1200 BPH based on 12L bottles.

  • Designed for 5L to 18.9L one-way PET large-format bottles
  • Compatible with different bottle heights or diameters when the neck finish is consistent
  • Neck-handling transmission for stable bottle positioning
  • Extended rotary rinsing nozzles for deeper internal bottle cleaning
  • Clean filling chamber and automatic cap washing / sterilizing

Consistent neck finish is the basis for multi-size PET bottle compatibility.

4R can configure the monoblock to run different one-way PET large-format bottles, such as different heights, diameters, or capacities from 5L to 18.9L. The key condition is that the bottle neck finish must remain consistent.

Because the machine uses neck-handling transmission, a consistent neck finish allows the system to grip, locate, transfer, rinse, fill, and cap bottles through the same stable reference point. This reduces the impact of bottle-body height and diameter differences on main-machine operation.

Why neck finish matters

A consistent neck finish keeps cap feeding, cap washing, capping, bottle positioning, and changeover logic stable. If the neck finish changes, the project must be reviewed as a different compatibility case.

Stable operation for different PET bottle heights and diameters.

01

Unified Positioning at the Neck

The bottle is controlled at the neck area, making the system less sensitive to body height, diameter, and bottle-body rigidity differences.

02

Less Bottle Swing

Large empty PET bottles are lightweight and less rigid. Neck handling helps reduce bottle swing and unstable infeed during continuous operation.

03

Better Multi-Size Design

When the neck finish is consistent, different large-format PET bottles can share the same main-machine transfer logic with controlled changeover cost.

Extended rotary rinsing nozzles and a clean filling chamber reduce contamination risk.

  1. 1
    Deep Internal Bottle Rinsing

Extended rotary rinsing nozzles can enter through the bottle mouth and spray the inside of the bottle more completely.

  2. 2
    Reduced Rinsing Blind Spots

For large bottles with deep internal space, nozzle reach, spray force, rinsing angle, and drainage must be matched to the bottle design.

  3. 3
    Clean Filling Chamber

The filling area is designed to reduce open exposure between rinsing, filling, and capping.

  4. 4
    Cap Washing and Sterilizing

Automatic cap elevation, cap washing, and cap sterilizing reduce manual contact and cap-borne contamination risk.

Why this matters

Even when finished water quality is stable, poor bottle rinsing, exposed filling, or untreated caps can create secondary contamination risk. 4R treats the rinsing-filling-capping section as the core hygiene zone of the line.

Bottom-support lifting reduces deformation risk during filling.

One-way PET large-format bottles are more sensitive to bottle shape, wall thickness, capacity, and filling weight than small PET bottles. During filling, the bottle changes from empty to full, and the supporting method becomes critical.

01

Bottom-Support Lifting

The lifting mechanism supports the bottle from the bottom when filling starts and transfers it smoothly to the next station after filling.

02

Less Sidewall Pressure

Bottom support avoids unnecessary pressure on the bottle body and reduces the risk of bottle deformation during filling.

03

Stable Filling Position

Supporting the bottle properly improves the alignment between the bottle mouth and filling valve during the filling cycle.

Oil-free wear materials and protected main bearing improve reliability and hygiene.

Oil-Free

Corrosion-Resistant Wear Materials

Key moving parts such as the bottom-support lifting mechanism use corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, lubrication-free engineering materials such as igus-type materials.

Hygiene

Lower Lubrication Contamination Risk

Lubrication-free components reduce the risk of oil contaminating bottles, product-contact areas, the machine table, or the clean filling environment.

Bearing

Large Flat Toothed Ball Bearing

The main bearing supports smooth and reliable rotary operation. Seals and water-blocking rings help prevent table water from entering the bearing area.

4R can take responsibility for the complete line, not only the monoblock.

One-way PET large-format water production requires more than one machine. 4R integrates the self-manufactured monoblock with partner-supplied systems and manages the line as one project.
